Thank you. I think this is a great article about a great subject. I think the hardest thing to learn about relationships might be more fundamental than not knowing the other, although it is true that we never completely know the other and they never completely know us. I think the hardest thing about relationships is that the other is not us, they’re an independent person with their own ends and those ends will never perfectly coincide with ours. So love must include an element, not just of not knowing the other, but of non-possession of the other. Love must include letting the other be the independent thing that they are.
